During the event, Mr. Hoang Trung Thanh, the General Director of Viettel Post, stated that the world's largest e-commerce and logistics enterprises are currently present and operating in Vietnam, creating significant competitive pressure for domestic businesses. This demands that Vietnamese enterprises innovate rapidly, undergo digital transformation, and smartly upgrade their network systems to establish long-term competitive advantages.
According to Mr. Tao Duc Thang, the Chairman and General Director of the Viettel Group, putting into operation Vietnam's first and largest intelligent sorting technology complex is the initial step in constructing a smart logistics infrastructure. In addition to the national-scale infrastructures built by Viettel, namely, the telecommunications and digital infrastructures, Viettel continues to develop the national logistics infrastructure. This contributes to making Vietnam a regional and global logistics hub, participating in achieving the goal that by 2025, the logistics sector will contribute 5-6% to the GDP.

For Viettel Post's intelligent sorting technology complex, this is the most highly automated sorting complex in Vietnam. It utilizes self-driving robot sorting (AGV robots), a large cargo sorting system (Wheel Sorter Matrix), and a conveyor belt sorting system (Cross-belt Sorter). Viettel Post is the first logistics company in Vietnam to deploy AGV robot technology.
The monitoring and management of the complex's operation are facilitated by a NOC system that monitors the real-time journey of each order. The intelligent monitoring system includes Digital Twin technology, AI cameras, control of the status of the entire system's equipment and cargo handling operations, detection, and alerting of abnormal behaviors, facilitating timely problem-solving.
Viettel Post's complex includes three systems: AGV robots, Wheel Sorter Matrix, and Cross-belt Sorter. Among them, the AGV robot is an automated self-driving sorting robot for 100% automatic sorting of lightweight, thin, uniquely shaped, and round rolling goods, suitable for e-commerce goods. This modern robot technology is used by many major logistics units worldwide.
